ISA Isolated Digital I/O Boards

The ISO-P32C32 is a 64-channel isolated digital input board, arranged into four isolated banks. Each input chanel use a photo-coupler input which allows either internal power supply or external power selected by a jumper. Isolated input channels 0 ~15 are designed into group A, channels 16~31 into group B, Isolated input channels 32~47 are into group A, channels 48~63 are into group B. The power supply of the input port may use the external power or the the power from the PC side using DC to DC converter. The board interfaces to field logic signals, which eliminates ground-loop problems and isolates the host computer from damaging voltages. The ISO-P32C32 has one 37-pin D-sub connector and one 40-pin header. Users can connect the digital signal through the second D-sub connector. Each D-sub connector contains 16 input channels and 16 output channels.

The PCI-1800/1802 (L/H) is a family of high performance data acquisition board with 5V PCI bus. The PCI-1800/1802LU/HU card has a universal PCI interface supporting both 3.3 V and 5 V PCI bus. All the members in the PCI-1800 family have the same architecture; they feature a continuous A/D acquisition function of up to 330 kHz for low gain (44 kHz for high gain) under DOS and offer two 12-bit D/A output channels, 16 digital input channels and 16 digital output channels. The PCI-1800 series provides 16 single-ended or 8 differential inputs while the PCI-1802 series provides 32 single-ended or 16 differential inputs. In addition, an amazing A/D channel scan function called “MagicScan” is provided for users to easily implement multi-channel analog data acquisition applications. The specific MagicScan controller takes out most works of getting A/D value such as selecting channel, setting gain, settling time, triggering ADC and getting data. Even in channel scan mode, it can have different gain code for each channel, and the sampling rate can still reach 330 kS/s totally. The PCI-1800 series is suitable for high end applications.

It features a continuous, 330KHz for low gain (44KHz for high gain), gap-free data acquisition under DOS and Windows. The PCI-1800 family has the same architecture and has two 12-bit D/A output channels, 16 digital input channels, and 16 digital output channels. The PCI-1800H, PCI-1800L provides 16 single-ended or 8 differential inputs. The PCI-1802H and PCI-1802L provide 32 single-ended or 16 differential inputs. The -H means high gain model and the -L means low gain model. The scan function of PCI-1800 is so amazing. We call it Magic Scan. The variable channel scan function is found in some famous data acquisition boards. Compared to Variable channel scan, the Magic Scan improves a lot functions and meets the demand of high end users.
