LD Driver slot module of FOTS system is an efficient module that is user centered, which can drive various kinds of laser diode for the use of optical signal transmission or light source. The module has a built in LD socket, in which LD of 14 pin butterfly type is installed, which makes it possible for the user to change the LD he or she wants to drive when needed. It is leaded to get rid of the inefficiency of expense, at which various types of expensive united source module needed are purchased. By operating monitoring PD and high-performance processor that are installed inside the module, the output power and temperature of LD can be driven accurately and stably. The laser diodes can be modulated internally in square, sinusoidal, and triangular waves and its output power and temperature can also be maintained the level set by the user. In order to realize the various functions, the efficient and multi-functioned control programs with high speed processor, LCD monitor or GUI for remote control are available.

SOA Driver slot module of FOTS system offers a special function that changes the amplification feature of input optical signal variously, by dynamically driving a built-in SOA module. This SOA Driver is an efficient module that can drive a high gain and low noise amplifier stably and modulate a high power amplified signal up to the rate of 155 Mbps. As a high power amplifier, this module drives the maximum amplified power of more than 10 dBm and has a stable broadband source characteristics of > 0 dBm. As a high-speed modulator of amplified signal combined with high current (400 mA) modulation technique, it outputs a high power and high bit rate amplified signal of > 155 Mbps with > 10 dBm peak power.

In combination with an optionally built-in circulator or C/L-band WDM coupler, this module can be applied to the WDM-PON test. Bench top ASE broadband source system with built-in ASE source module has particularities that it can be operated easily and enables its output spectral feature changed variously by controlling pump LDs inside the module. The output of ASE source can be set to the customized feature by controlling the output power of embedded pump LD individually through the provided program. In case optimum ASE output features such as wide broadband (>80nm@-10dBm/nm) and stable output power (<0.02dB) is needed, it is made up so that the provided Default mode along with User mode can be chosen and set up. Through the micro processor and FPGA inside, more stable application is possible by combining the real-time monitoring of output power and pump LD status with the high speed feedback routine.

DAS
Our Distributed Acoustic Sensor(DAS) with excellent pattern recognition software can detect and locate the distributed thousanfs of acoustic events. Whenever any vibration or sound around its sensing fiber is detected, our DAS system will process the measured data in real-time and its pattern recognition software will recognize the types of the events, such as digging, pipeline leakage, fence breach, vehicle moving person walking. And, the detected events are reported to the alarm server to help operators take actions to protect theor facilities.
