All Gage PCI Express CompuScopes are able to Stream waveform data through the PCI Express bus directly to PC RAM. By contrast, older Memory Mode operation required storage of data in dedicated digitizer memory prior to data transfer. Streaming provides two distinct advantages over Memory Mode. First, Streaming may overcome the acquisition time limit imposed by the volume of dedicated digitizer memory. Second, in Streaming Mode, the user does not need to await completion of waveform acquisition before accessing the resulting waveform data, which is necessary in Memory Mode.

At 4.5 W, the EC represents one of the lowest power consuming digitizer cards ever created for its class. Signal frequencies up to 200 MHz can be accurately captured either in baseband or in higher order Nyquist zones using under-sampling techniques. Where DC-coupling is required, the EC14150D should be considered.

The C387 is a single-width, 6U, CompactPCI module with up to 256 digital input/output channels. The C387 base board supports 128 channels of TTL I/O. Four mezzanine card sites can be populated with other forms of digital I/O including isolated input, isolated output, relay output, AC switch output or differential I/O. The mezzanine card concept allows multiple digital I/O types to be configured within a single module to match the application requirements.
