H.A.P.P.I.E. in fact offers a conservative response to the problem of the determination of the environmental impact in critical conditions that can usually be correlated to the requirements of defining areas in which the supply operations should be interrupted in emergency conditions, therefore in very short times and without the possibility of obtaining an accurate collection of the hydrogeological data.

Specially designed for small-scale cross-hole surveys, this compact hammer can be used to generate both P and S waves.The hammer can be downloaded using the steel cable and clamped to the requested depth by a pneumatic clamping system manually controlled by a lever from the surface; simply pushing up the steel cable to execute the first shot, the trigger installed on the energizer will start the acquisition for the “P/S”. After that you will have to drop the mass to make the acquisition with inverse polarity.

SID calculates hydraulic sections of any form and of any geometrical and hydraulic characteristics. The program determines, for a given section, the height and speed values reached by the water, assuming that the channel has a prismatic form of infinite length. The formula used by the program utilises the average velocity as a function of the mean radius of the section, that is equal to the ratio between the area of the hydraulic section and the wet boundary, of the loss of load and of the friction coefficient.
