The AMC080 is high density versatile I/O module. The 15 banks of 8-bit I/O can be used as input and or/output and are configurable to run as +3.3V or +5V. The unit interfaces to the system via GbE and/or PCI/10GbE. The I/O’s are accessible via HDC. It also has 8 bi-color LED’s on the front panel for indication and status. All LED’s are reconfigurable.

The PCI536 is based on the Altera Arria-10™ GX1150 FPGA in F1517 package. The FPGA interfaces directly to the FMC+ DP 0-23 (single connector) and all FMC+ LA/HA/HB pairs, making it compatible with a wide range of industry standard VITA 57 modules. The PCI536 has x8 PCIe edge connector routed to the FPGA PCIe Gen3 hard IP block. It also has interface to two DDR4, 64-bit wide, with 16 GB total memory. This allows for large buffer sizes to be stored during processing as well as for queuing the data to the host.

The front I/O Dual Ethernet Ports have changed from 10G copper to the 1 Gb copper, all other I/Os match the UTC004. The management software is based on VadaTech’s robust Carrier Manager and Shelf Manager which have been deployed for years with proven results. The MCMC manages the Power Modules, Cooling Units, and up to 12 AMCs within the chassis. It also manages the optional PCIe Gen3, SRIO Gen2, 40GbE/10GbE or Crossbar Fat Pipe switches as well as the standard GbE with 1GbE uplink Base Channel switch.
