Heat Stress Meters
-
The heat stress meter is mainly used in the workplace. The heat stress meter can detect and classify temperature in relation to the amount of moisture content. What is heat stress? And why is heat stress measured? People who work in installations or with machines that produce a lower energy level or a high emission of temperature can occasionally suffer heat stress (by the influence of body temperature). This phenomenon can also cause physiological symptoms: spasms, feeling unwell and shock that can in some cases prove fatal.

Adhesion Tester
-
An adhesion tester measures the force required to detach a coating from a substrate. Often called a pull-off adhesion tester or peel tester, an adhesion tester applies a large amount of force to evaluate a coating's bond strength. When measuring peel force or adhesiveness, the nature of the substrate's surface plays a significant role. However, a high-quality adhesion tester features a self-aligning measuring head to compensate for any surface irregularities.

Digital Multimeters
-
The digital multimeter, also known as a Volt-Ohm meter, measures electrical magnitude in different fields of electronics. Every digital multimeter has a large, clear display and fits in the palm of your hand making it versatile and easy to handle. The digital multimeter is invaluable to professional technicians due to its high level of accuracy when taking measurements of low to high voltages. The digital multimeter is used in research, in professional training and education, by technicians in the field, by the industrial sector and in workshops, by military, mechanics, and in many other electrical analysis applications. We offer a digital multimeter that has manual or automatic range selection and with or without an RS-232 interface for transferring data to a computer. The corresponding test cables for the digital multimeter come with the device as well as batteries so that it is ready to use straight out the box. The digital multimeter can be accompanied by an ISO calibration certificate either when it is ordered or included as part of an annual recalibration.

Building Moisture Meter / Building Material Moisture Meter
-
A building moisture meter offers the possibility of automatic temperature compensation, storage and later transmission of the measured values to the computer / laptop or even programming your own, specific building material characteristic curves. Depending on the type, many characteristic curves are already stored in the building moisture meter (our premium model has over 500). They can be easily selected. High measuring accuracy and reproducibility are guaranteed.

Pyrometers
-
The pyrometer is ideal for taking accurate measurements of temperature without contact. Thanks to an optical mechanism, the pyrometer is safe for measuring high temperatures. Its infrared capabilities make the pyrometer the perfect tool to use when a conventional sensor is inadequate. A pyrometer is useful for measuring moving, extremely hot or hard-to-reach objects. Many pyrometer models can be calibrated to meet ISO standards.

Gas Meters
-
At PCE Instruments you will find a professional quality gas meters for everyday use. The gas detector meets the requirements for personal safety and issued mainly for the detection of methane, hydrogen sulphide, carbon monoxide and oxygen levels (along with 50 other possible gases). The auto-calibration function allows for easy recalibration of the gas detector. Depending on the model, the gas detector has the ability to store data and later transfer recorded values to a computer. One accessory is the manual aspirator, with this device you can draw gas directly into the gas detection instrument via a 2 m long tube with which you will be able to measure gas levels without having to be in direct contact with the gas source or to be able to determine the levels of gas in places that are difficult to access. Furthermore, we have a fixed installation gas detector in many different models available.

Sound Level Indicators
-
A sound level meter is a measuring instrument used to assess noise or sound levels by measuring sound pressure. Often referred to as a sound pressure level (SPL) meter, decibel (dB) meter, noise meter or noise dosimeter, a sound level meter uses a microphone to capture sound. The sound is then evaluated within the sound level meter and acoustic measurement values are shown on the display of the sound level meter. The most common unit of acoustic measurement for sound is the decibel (dB); however, some sound level meter devices also determine the equivalent continuous sound level (Leq) and other acoustic parameters. With a portable sound level meter, industrial hygiene and workplace safety professionals can measure sound levels in multiple locations to ensure environmental conditions fall within recommended exposure limits (RELs). Some sound level meter devices can be permanently installed for continuous monitoring of sound levels at a work or job site.An important attribute to consider when searching for a suitable sound level meter is its type or class. The type or class of a sound level meter defines the device's accuracy as per American National Standards Institute (ANSI) or International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) guidelines. Typically, "type" is the grade according to the ANSI S1.4 standard, whereas "class" is the grade according to the IEC 61672 standard. There are two types or classes assigned to sound level meters: type 1 / class 1 or type 2 / class 2. For assessing noise in basic industrial, commercial, educational, recreational or residential applications, a type 2 / class 2 sound level meter usually will suffice. For precision-grade assessments often made in a laboratory, a type 1 / class 1 sound level meter primarily is used. PCE sound level meter products are lightweight, easy-to-use and manufactured in accordance with the highest industrial standards.

Ozone Meters
-
In this section you will find an ozone meter to determine the content of ozone in the air or in the water. The ozone meter is essentially used in environmental technology, but the ozone meter is also used in industrial processes. The ozone meter in water is necessary for water treatment or recycling facilities, such as disinfection processes. The handling of the ozone meter is very simple. The recalibration of the ozone meter can be made by the user at any time. The ozone meter in air requires a more complicated calibration, usually a sensor works for two years with optimal results (little variation) before having to be changed.

Colorimeters
-
A colorimeter is a valuable color-measuring tool used by manufacturers, printers, painters, designers and quality control professionals. Colorimeters ensure accurate, consistent color, eliminating issues related to color subjectivity. Depending on the model, PCE Instruments' colorimeter products can measure colors in different color spaces such as CIE LAB, XYZ, LCh, RGB and LUV (for liquids and solids / that is why you can choose the media via filter selection). The most popular colorimeter models in our range of color-reading products are the PCE-CSM series colorimeters. Aside from being easy to use and economical, the PCE-CSM series colorimeters offer high degrees of accuracy.

Infrared Thermometers
-
Our infrared thermometers make it possible to measure a temperature without contact by way of determining an object emitting infrared radiation. Here you will find Infrared Thermometers for measuring temperature without contact and contain a targeting light to ensure the correct surface area is being measured. An infrared thermometer can only measure the temperature of exposed surfaces and not through glass. Some infrared thermometers possess a preset emissivity value, and others allow the user to choose the emissivity value depending on the surface material being measured, whether it's paper, wood or metallic surfaces.
