It is constructed from 100-Pin twisted pair cable with varying left and right hand lays to minimise crosstalk. The Cable is colour coded to ensure easy connection. Screwlocks are provided to secure the SCSI connector to its associated product.

The 40-666A-012 is a single 6-channel 10A MUX and is part of our range of high current multiplexers occupying two slots of PXI chassis. Each multiplexer switch uses a fully isolated solid state relay which has been designed to offer fast operation under hot switching conditions and high inrush current with no operational life degradation. Each multiplexer channel can support 10A of continuous current and switch up to 200V signals. The switches can sustain inrush currents in excess of 50A. AC or DC signals can be switched since the switch is polarity insensitive.

It consists of up to four 16-bit, digital-to-analogue converters (DAC), capable of creating four current outputs each. Output current within 0mA - 4mA and 20mA - 24mA, give the ability to simulate error or extra signaling conditions. The ±24mA mode gives the ability to simulate either sourcing or sinking sensor.
