DM 150-Watt Transmitter
Loc-150Tx
The Loc-150Tx, 150-Watt DM Transmitter is used primarily with the Defect Mapper (DM) Receiver, however it is also useful for those needing a low frequency, high output transmitter. Typically, the Loc-150Tx, transmitter (DM transmitter) is used to apply a signal current to the anode bed. The pipeline returns the signal via coating faults back to the transmitter. The Loc-150Tx transmitter is designed to be powered from CP (Cathodic Protection) stations, AC or external batteries, eliminating the need for internal batteries. This transmitter has a direct connection mode to apply the locate frequency onto the conductor. There is no clamp or induction mode.

Utility Locator
VM-850
Using the correct frequency makes a world of difference when locating buried utilities. The depth of the utility, size, material, and amount of congestion (proximity of other utilities) all need to be taken into consideration for the correct frequency selection. Large diameter, direct buried pipes with bell housing ends that use insulators and rubber gaskets, such as water or gas require a higher frequency while smaller diameter, well-grounded direct buried or long distance in conduits work, better with a lower frequency. The VM-850 operates at a much lower frequency of 9.82kHz which is ideal for smaller diameter utilities such as CATV, power and telephone with less bleeding onto adjacent services.

Receiver
vLoc3-Pro
The vLoc3-Pro utility locator introduces new innovative tools for locating buried utilities assuring damage prevention while gathering information for analysis. With two sets of screened 3D antennas signal distortion is easily detected and displayed on the bright full color display. Along with classic locate screens the vLoc3 series locators offer new locate perspective screens of Vector Locate for fully automatic non-walk over locating, Transverse Graph showing both peak and null simultaneously providing immediate measurement of signal distortion, Plan View showing the relative orientation of the cable at any angle, and a new graphical Sonde screen with guidance arrows leading to the sonde location even when it is vertical.

50-Watt Rack Mount Transmitter
FLS-2
Fiber optic cables are a critical part of modern life due to the vast amount of data they carry to support businesses, internet users, and emergency services. The cost of losing these services, even temporarily, is immeasurable. The FLS-2 system is designed to assist in locating, monitoring and providing damage prevention to these cables. The FLS-2 high-performance, high-power rack-mounted transmitter is typically mounted in a re-gen staton, customer access point, or central office. The FLS-2 transmits a locate tone on the metallic sheath of the fiber cable over vast distances to ensure the cable can be located quickly and accurately, even in congested areas.

25-Watt Transmitter
Loc3 25W
The powerful 25-watt transmitter is the go-to transmitter for cable fault locating, finding holidays on coated pipes, problematic deep-buried lines, and long-distance pipe and cable locating. The Loc3-25Tx is also well suited for applications for cathodic protected longline pipelines and gas distribution in city areas needing a low-frequency high output transmitter.

Service Drop Locator & Metal Detector
VM-585
The VM-585 is a combination of the popular VM-550 utility locator with the added benefit of a built in Ferrous Metal Detector. This makes it ideal for locating short distance runs such as service drops and to detect buried ferrous metal objects such as buried valve box covers, buried tanks, and manhole covers. The advanced filtering of the VM-585‘s metal detector rejects materials such as bottle caps and aluminum cans and zeros in on finding only ferrous materials. The manual gain control allows it to be controlled and able to work close to large metal objects such as automobiles and chain link fences while still looking for the targets underground. The VM-585 will locate through asphalt, concrete, or grass and in temporary conditions such as snow.

Utility Locator
VM-810
Using the correct frequency makes a world of difference when locating buried utilities. The depth of the utility, size, material, and amount of congestion (proximity of other utilities) all need to be taken into consideration for the correct frequency selection. Large diameter, direct buried pipes with bell housing ends that use insulators and rubber gaskets, such as water or gas require a higher frequency while smaller diameter, well-grounded direct buried or long distance in conduits work, better with a lower frequency. The VM-810 operates at 83.1kHz which is ideal for water and gas utilities which generally are larger pipes with bell housings and gaskets. The VM-810’s higher frequency is also good for locating ungrounded small diameter drop wires and inducing signals through the soil, onto services when direct connecting is not an option.

Fault Locator
VM-510FFL+
Finding the location of an underground cable fault just became easier with the VM-510FFL+ Standalone A-frame locator. Now locating a suspect cable and finding the fault can be done with the VM-510FFL+ and a compatible transmitter. There is no longer a need for a separate utility locator with cables connecting to it. After connecting a compatible transmitter to the line and placing it in a Fault-Find mode, use the simple to operate four button controls of the VM-510FFL+ to locate and stay on the cable path while pinpointing the sheath or ground fault.

Sonde Locator
vLoc3-Cam
The vLoc3-Cam is the easiest to use sonde locator on the market today. The omni-directional antenna array allows for approaching the sonde from any position. The directional arrows will guide the user first to the front or rear locate point and then directly to the sondes position. The vLoc3-Cam includes multiple sonde frequencies making it compatible with the major push cameras and crawler cameras on the market. The Pushrod Trace mode shows a second display geared for tracing the path of the pushrod deployed in the pipe or tracing pipes with an optional portable transmitter.

1-Watt Transmitter
VM-560FF
The VM-560FF Transmitter has one induction frequency; three direct connect and a fault-find frequency. The LED indicators on the transmitter show the frequency selected, output level, and battery status. An audio indicator beeps to advise the quality of the connection. This one-watt transmitter can transmit the locate signal onto the target line three ways. By direct connection, if direct access to the line is available, by induction by simply putting the transmitter in induction mode and placing it over the target line with the induction arrow in line with it or by clamp mode and using the induction clamp to clamp around the target line.
