Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are an ideal fit for data acquisition systems as they offer unparalleled real-time signal processing power. Moving functionality from the host PC to the on-board FPGAs helps offload the PCs central processing unit (CPU) and relaxes data transfer rate requirements. This capability is key in achieving the performance levels needed in many of today's leading-edge applications.All our data acquisition and generation modules host Xilinx FPGAs and are delivered with pre-installed general data acquisition firmware (for ADQ7 and ADQ14 we refer to this firmware as "FWDAQ"). In addition to the standard/default firmware, we also offer optional firmware development kits (available for all models) and application-specific firmware packages (available for ADQ7 and ADQ14 only). Digital Down-Conversion Firmware
FW2DDC
FW2DDC equips ADQ7WB and ADQ7DC with real-time functions commonly used in radio frequency (RF) receivers. It also contains the proprietary ADX technology which corrects mismatch errors in time-interleaved analog-to-digital converters (TI-ADCs) and thereby ensure industry-leading spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR). The digital signal processing also helps reduce the data rate to a manageable level in order to simplify data post-processing and storage.

Firmware for High-speed Communication
OP-FW12GA
OP-FW12GA is the firmware to increase the speed of monitoring test of bit synchronous communication (such as HDLC/SDLC/X.25, or CC-Link communication), SPI communication, Profibus-DP (field bus known for high-speed communication), UART (asynchronous communication, which is commonly used). By processing great part of monitoring processes by FPGA, it unfailingly captures communication data with time stamps of a microsecond rate. The interface supports RS-232C/RS-422/RS-485/TTL.

OP-FW10G is an expansion firmware to upgrade LE-3500 measuring Bit-Synch (HDLC/SDLC/X.25/CC-Link) and SPI communications up to 10Mbps. Hardware processing by FPGA built in the analyzer makes it possible to capture data with time stamp at micro second. It is useful to analyze SPI communications and High-speed HDLC communications such as RS-485 multi-drop CC-LINK and TTL signal level on the printed-circuit board.

Firmware for High-speed HDLC Mode
OP-FW10
OP-FW10 is firmware to upgrade protocol analyzer LE-7200/LE-3200 to dedicated analyzer that is specialized for High-speed HDLC communication up to 10Mbps. By installing this OP-FW10 to LE-7200/LE-3200, HDLC measurement processing such as the trigger and filter that were processed by software of the analyzer can be replaced to the hardware processing by FPGA built in the analyzer. Therefore, a maximum speed of HDLC supported is vastly improved. After installation of OP-FW10, You can switch to the usual firmware that supports multi protocol by pressing “SHIFT” and “0” keys at the same time when turning on the power of the analyzer. Therefore, it saves you trouble to reinstall firmware.

M2T Transmitter
The M2T half-rack transmitter houses two stereo transmitters to provide two stereo audio channels, and for up to four mono audio channels in a single rack space. The audio inputs can be individually configured to be analog or Dante compatible. The analog input connectors are full-size XLR/TRS combo types for balanced line-level analog signals while the input preamp circuits use a special balanced amplifier with very high common mode rejection to minimize hum and noise. A Dante™ Ultimo™ interface via dual RJ45 connectors accepts Dante networked audio inputs and can daisy chain the digital stream to additional units via CAT6 cables. An additional RJ45 jack provides an Ethernet connection for programming and control via Wireless Designer™ software and a USB jack on the front panel allows for firmware updates.
