Each of our RF & Microwave matrices is designed to have a controlled transmission line impedance and architecture developed to maximize the bandwidth of the product. The RF matrices are designed with crosspoint switch systems interlinked with isolation relays and loop-thru connections to minimize stub loading of the matrix. The mechanical and electrical freedom of LXI allows us to design RF and Microwave matrices to suit most applications.

Modular Matrices include two ranges: - The LDX+ range provides a cost effective modular solution for budget sensitive projects requiring fewer advance features at shorter Cat 6 cable lengths of up to 70m.- The MDX+ range incorporates the videowall processor technology which allows a number of output blades to be grouped together to form a multi display video mosaic or wall. Pickering's 6U high-density matrices are suitable for switching frequencies to beyond 250MHz. The 45- 720A module is available in 50 and 75 Ohm versions with a choice of coaxial connectors. It is intended for the easy construction of high-performance bidirectional matrix switching systems. Automatic Isolation Switches are located on all coaxial connectors, these disconnect the matrix from the external test fixture - this maximizes isolation and RF performance.

PMI offers a full product line of RF Switch Matrices that operate over the 20MHz to 40GHz frequency range. Three standard models are offered that cover this frequency range, namely 20MHz to 3.0GHz, 2.0GHz to 18.0GHz, and 18.0GHz to 40.0GHz. Any of the three models can be supplied as either a 4 X 4, 8 X 8, 16 X 16, or 32 X 32 non-blocking matrix.
