The NTP server accepts the time and frequency signals from sources like GPS or GLONASS. It achieves nanosecond accuracy and the system clock operates at stratum 1 when synchronized with time sources. It is a sleek, rack-mountable unit that synchronizes and maintains equipment/device time and avoiding any time drifts due to local RTCs. NTP output from time server supports unicast, broadcast, and multicast methods based on selection and behaves like a reference clock for the network. Apart from time synchronization protocols, it supports MD5 (Security key), SNMP, SSH, HTTP (Configuration), TELNET, FTP, and SYSLOG. IP address of the LAN ports can be field configurable.
