The Chroma 63800 Loads can simulate load conditions under high crest factor and varying power factors with real time compensation even when the voltage waveform is distorted. This special feature provides real world simulation capability and prevents overstressing thereby giving reliable and unbiased test results. The 63800's state of the art design uses DSP technology to simulate non-linear rectified loads with its unique RLC operation mode. This mode improves stability by detecting the impedance of the UUT and dynamically adjusting the load's control bandwidth to ensure system stability. Comprehensive measurements allow users to monitor the output performance of the UUT. Additionally, voltage & current signals can be routed to an oscilloscope through analog outputs. The instrument's GPIB/RS232 interface options provide remote control & monitor for system integration. Built-in digital outputs may also be used to control external relays for short circuit (crowbar) testing.

The RJ Series of computer controlled switching systems are designed for physical layer switching of multiwire signals on RJ style connectors. Since the system uses mechanical relays it acts exactly like a piece of cable which makes it perfect for testing networks without altering the signals or regeneration. These systems are typically used for Ethernet LAN 10BaseT through 1000BaseT, DSL including ASML through GFAST, CAT5 through CAT6A cable testing, USB up to 2.0, RS232, RS422, RS485 up to 8 wire at 20 Mbps and many other applications switched over RJ45 connectors up to 8 wires. Sensing Resistors
Resistive Voltage Dividers
NGR Sensing Resistors are attached in parallel to the neutral grounding resistor. The sensing resistor allows a protective relay to detect a resistor failure in a continuous manner. Sensing Resistors are used in combination with neutral grounding resistor monitor relays. The relay measures neutral grounding resistance, neutral grounding resistor current and neutral to ground voltage. The relay continuously measures neutral grounding resistor ohmic value in an unfaulted system and it trips on if neutral grounding resistance varies from its calibrated value.
