Here you will find a moisture tester for wood to determine absolute moisture in different wood types. Newly-cut logs can have a moisture content of 80% or more, depending on the type. Since wood shrinks substantially when dried, it must be dried before being used in construction or most other applications. This is most often done using a large furnace called a kiln. The air drying method may also be used, but this is much slower. With the help of the moisture tester for wood you will be able to measure with high accuracy moisture in, not only raw wood, but also rolled paper products, planks, slats, beams, plywood, panels, particle board, main beams, window frames, etc., anything wooden. The Lumistar LS-27-B Modular Dual Channel Tri-Band Tracking and Data Receiver is Lumistar’s third generation of modular high performance FM Receivers. This wideband designs supports one or two independent channels of PCM with data rates up to 20Mbps. The unit includes both an optional FM demodulated output for PCM data, and standard programmable AM/linear AGC outputs for auto-tracking receivers. The GGT500 ground grid integrity tester is designed for inspection of the substation ground grid. It can also be used as a portable micro-ohmmeter with Both Sides Grounded and Remote Control functionalities. It is intended to inspection the conditions of a grounding system beneath substations, testing of medium- and high-voltage circuit breakers, disconnecting switches, high-current bus bar joints, cable splices, and different high-current links.In the United States when inspecting the quality of the grounding systems beneath a substation, the proper procedure is to inject 300 A DC during a time period of 60 s. This is what the GGT500 will do, and in that time period, the current path and voltage drop are checked. Also acting as a micro-ohmmeter, the GGT500 can test low resistance values by producing high test currents of up to 500 A.The instrument is placed in an unbreakable, plastic case with IP67 protective rating (with closed lid). Although very portable and lightweight, micro-ohmmeters have very high output power capabilities. High output voltage enables a wider measurement range at higher test currents, as well as the use of thinner/longer test cables. GGT500 ground grid integrity tester generates a true DC ripple-free (less than 1 % ripple) current with automatically regulated test ramps. This significantly decreases magnetic transients and ensures great accuracy.When used for testing in Both Sides Grounded conditions, a special current clamp powered from the ground grid integrity tester is used for measuring a current through groundings. If even a higher safety level is required, the remote control feature enables the operator to perform measurements from a distant location, away from the instrument and test object.

Moisture can be found in any material. Even materials considered to be dry have a minor amount of moisture. An imbalance of moisture, whether it be excessive moisture or too little moisture, can cause problems ranging from undesired mold and bacteria growth to cracks and defects. To avoid a moisture imbalance, it is essential to monitor moisture content with a moisture meter that returns accurate and reliable measuring results. A moisture meter can measure the moisture content of everything from the air (relative humidity) to construction and building materials (concrete, wood) to biomass and agricultural products (hay, straw, grain, corn, beans, pellets) to solid waste (pulp, slurry) and beyond. Many moisture meter devices can also measure temperature. The moisture measurement range of each moisture meter varies depending on the model. Some moisture meter products take moisture measurements, store the moisture measurement data to an internal memory or SD cad, and allow the stored moisture measurement data to be transferred to a computer for detailed analysis by means of an evaluation software. PCE Instruments' moisture meter products come factory calibrated. ISO calibration certificates are available optionally for purchase as accessories to most moisture meter models. An ISO calibration certificate may be important to your company in meeting specific quality standards.
