62000H-S series
The latest programmable solar array simulator power supply 62000H-S Series released by Chroma provide simulation of Voc (open circuit voltage) up to 1800V and Isc (short circuit current) up to 30A. The 62000H-S provides an industry leading power density in a small 3U high package. The solar array simulator is highly stable and has a fast transient response design, which are both advantageous to MPPT performance evaluation on PV inverter devices. The 62000H-S Series have many unique advantages including high speed & precision digitizing measurement circuits with a 100kHz A/D, 25kHz D/A controlled I-V curve and a digital filter mechanism. It can simulate an I-V curve accurately and response the mains ripple effect from the PV inverter. In addition, the built-in EN50530/Sandia SAS I-V model in the standalone unit can easily program the Voc, Isc, Vmp, and Imp parameters for I-V curve simulation, without a PC controller.

The S12362/S12363 series is a back-illuminated type 16-element photodiode array specifi cally designed for non-destructive X-ray inspection. These are modified versions of our previous products (S11212 series: 1.575 mm pitch). The pitch has been changed to 2.5 mm. The back-illuminated photodiode array is also simple to handle and easily couples to scintillators without having to worry about wire damage because there are no bonding wires and photosensitive areas on the back side.

PIN Photodiode
PIN photodiode is a kind of photo detector, it can convert optical signals into electrical signals.This technology was invented in the latest of 1950's. There are three regions in this type of diode. There is a p-region an intrinsic region and an n-region. The p-region and n-region are comparatively heavily doped than the p-region and n-region of usual p-n diodes. The width of the intrinsic region should be larger than the space charge width of a normal p-n junction. The PIN photo diode operates with an applied reverse bias voltage and when the reverse bias is applied, the space charge region must cover the intrinsic region completely. Electron hole pairs are generated in the space charge region by photon absorption. The switching speed of frequency response of photo diode is inversely proportional to the life time. The switching speed can be enhanced by a small minority carrier lifetime. For the photo detector applications where the speed of response is important, the depletion region width should be made as large as possible for small minority carrier lifetime as a result the switch speed also increases.

SINE Sinusoidal Vision Demonstration Array
The Sinusoidal Visual Demonstration Array is designed to demonstrate the Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) of the human eye. Its transmittance varies sinusoidally and increases in spatial frequency from 0.2 to 20 c/mm, following a logrithmic scale. The modulation increases linearly from top to bottom. One can see, in the image, where the visual contrast contour disappears which is the MTF of the eye. Sinusoidal Target Arrays have been recognized as a superior test method for a variety of applications, from moiré contouring to reliable MTF Evaluation of materials, lenses, cameras, and electro-optical systems (Follow the hyperlink to learn about using Sinusoids for MTF eval). Sinusoidal Pattern Arrays are manufactured on two different materials for both reflective and transmissive applications. Because of the inherent limitations of reflective materials, the maximum spatial frequency of the reflective pattern arrays is limited to 20 cycles per mm, while the transmission film arrays are offered in various sizes up to 256 cycles per mm. In addition, the sinusoidal arrays are available in a Single Frequency Grating or with Multi-Frequency Gratings. Transducers For Photodiodes
Photodiodes convert incoming electromagnetic radiation into electrical charge carriers. If photodiodes are short circuited an electrical current (photocurrent) proportional to the incident radiation intensity (number of photons per second) is induced.
