Intermittent Fault Detection & Isolation System
IFDIS
The IFDIS™ uses patented Intermittent Fault Detector technology that simultaneously and continuously monitors every circuit path within a Unit Under Test (UUT) - such as a Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) chassis' interconnects - for intermittent continuity failures that occur for as short as 50 nanoseconds. This state of the art technology is combined with an environmental chamber and vibration table, which simulate the UUT’s operational environment and cause intermittent faults to manifest, creating a system that is unsurpassed in intermittent fault detection.

Short Circuit Locator for Power Cables
A910
The A910 is a short circuit locator designed for fault location in power cables. The instrument measures the ratio of the resistances of the two sections of failed conductor using a four-wire "Kelvin" connection, thus eliminating errors associated with contact resistances of the test leads. With the A910 you can determine if the cable has more than a short and locate the first and the last fault. The instrument locates fault with an insulation resistance up to 5 Mohms in cables that have a total resistance greater than 5mohm (approximately 90 m of 300 sqmm cable) and less than 30 kohms. The distance to fault is measured as a percentage of the total length of cable and is displayed on a large LCD display.

3/4D Image Visualization and Analysis Software
Imaris
Our latest release, Imaris 8.4, introduces a new and innovative approach to tracing neuron structures in 3D images. Torch™, a patent-pending tool which intuitively highlights structures in close proximity to the cursor while darkening the rest of the image, enables users to efficiently and accurately trace individual neurons within dense and thick samples. Improved depth visibility makes tracing in thick samples easier than ever before, allowing for the selection of a dynamic region of interest for tracing. All of this possible with terabyte-sized datasets.

Fault ID & Repair
As a manufacturer of bare PCBs, you know that your reputation sits right on top of every board you send out. You have to get them right, but with every PCB you discard, you’re throwing away precious labor, materials, power and time, along with many other costly elements that go to make up your products. That’s why it’s important to know which of your flagged boards are in fact electrically sound, and whether repair is a viable, reliable option.

PXI Fault Insertion Matrix Modules
All of our fault insertion matrices feature a breakout arrangement that allows faults to be attached to the sensor lines via the Y axis. This includes the breaking of a connection or the adding of a series defect – all of which can simulate connectivity problems in the system. The three pin breakout versions allow the connection to be swapped for a “bad” sensor simulation.
