Thomson introduces our Electrak Pro Series of linear actuators. This family stands alone when it comes to the toughest and most demanding applications. Available in 12 or 24 VDC models with customizable stroke lengths up to 300 mm (12 in), these units can push or pull loads up to 4448 N (1000 lbf) at speeds of 20 mm/s (0.8 in/s) and hold loads up to 9000 N (2000 lbf), or contact our factory for longer strokes or higher loads. Air Actuators
Del-Tron's linear air actuators (also referred to as linear actuators) are pneumatically actuated crossed roller slide assemblies controlled by a pair of Airpot air cylinders which provide extremely low friction and stiction characteristics. A light touch or physical obstruction will stop the unit’s movement to prevent damage to delicate and expensive equipment and parts. Low pressure operation is possible. The PNRE series requires less than 10 psi to operate.

GP/GH
GP (pneumatic) and GH (hydraulic) range scotch yoke actuators are designed to provide a rotary, quarter-turn movement for either on/off or modulating duty. The rugged yet compact design is available with two different yoke designs. The classic symmetric yoke delivers peak torque at both ends of stroke. Alternatively, they can be supplied with canted torque arms designed to deliver peak torque at only one end of stroke. Use of canted arms can often reduce actuator size, weight and cost for valves with appropriate torque demand characteristics.

High Speed Belt Drive Actuators
Del-Tron’s belt drive actuators operate at speeds up to 5.1 meters per second (MPS) and do not require lubrication or maintenance under normal operating conditions. Del-Tron's DB series actuators are ideal for use in applications where speed is critical such as pick-and-place applications on high speed automation equipment. Another advantage of the new DB series is that they can provide travel lengths up to 6 meters while maintaining repeatability of +/- 0.025 mm and linear accuracy of +/- 0.083 mm per meter.

CQ
The CQ range provides an innovative fully-concentric and balanced actuator design for quarter-turn valves. The design features a helical mechanism that transforms linear piston motion into quarter-turn valve stem rotation. CQ actuators provide a much higher torque output for a given footprint than scotch yoke designs typically utilised to operate many quarter-turn valve types. It is therefore ideally suited for installation in confined spaces. Further, Rotork’s unique helical pin design provides higher efficiency than a helical gear mechanism utilised by other valve actuator manufacturers.As standard, the CQ torque output profile, like that of a scotch yoke actuator, is engineered to parallel the torque demand profile typically found with popular quarter-turn valve types. The CQ design however is unique in that the torque profile can be custom engineered and manufactured to meet specific, non-standard valve torque requirements.In our experience, the CQ standard range of sizes is suitable for applications that require a pneumatically powered actuator with torque demand less than 150,000 Nm. However, we also engineer CQ actuators with greater output and/or hydraulic power. Please apply to Rotork for these applications.
