The load bank allows testing in a range of 0-5115 with a resolution of over 1000 steps providing high detailed power profiles. The Rigel Uni-Therm also advocates safe working practise by providing all necessary resistors within a single enclosure.

Pickering's PXI high power general purpose switch modules provide a range of high current handling relays suited for high power applications. Lower current versions require one 3U PXI slot, the highest current versions occupy two slots. These modules can be used to switch heavy AC or DC loads and the highest current versions are particularly suitable for automotive test. The driver can be operated either as an RF amplifier, providing 32dB of gain or as a high power signal generator making use of a dedicated 1GSPS, 14bit digital synthesizer on each channel. Modulation can be performed through the use of the internal source, external global input, external individual input, or programmable 16K sample RAM lookup table.
