The ABex TM-406 is a six-channel shunt current measurement extension. It’s designed to work in combination with the Konrad ABex TM-501 and PXI-501.Each of the six shunt current measurement units have a passive measurement shunt, an overcurrent protection, a sense bridge relay and the possibility to route the quiescence current to an ABex measurement device TM-501 with PXI-501.In addition, the ABex TM-406 features 8 isolated digital outputs (IDOs), and 12 measurement inputs, which can be routed to the analog bus.

Current Mirrors
Analog Devices current mirrors are precision, high dynamic range, wide variable supply parts used for optical power monitoring, voltage biasing with current monitoring, and voltage-to-current conversion. Our current mirrors can monitor current down to as little as 3 nA and as much as 3 mA, with a linearity of 1% or better. The current dynamic range is 120 dB or 6 decades of current range, while the overcurrent protection feature in our devices forces the input pin to ground to avoid part damage. INFINITY-Deep is an autonomously deployable data logger for current speed measurements in the deep oceans. The currents in the deep oceans are very weak. It is too hard to accurately measure the deep water currents by some ADVs (Acoustic Doppler Velocimeters) that detect the Doppler-effect by scatter with the suspended particles in the water, because the concentration is very low. INFINITY-Deep measures 2-D current data through a magnetic field according to Faraday's law. Therefore, even if the suspended particles do not exist around the sensor, it can provide the accurate current data. The depth rating is 6,000m. Compared to INFINITY-EM, the instrument has a depth and a tilt sensors to monitor mooring status. Also, the battery capacity doubles for long-term current velocity measurements.
