In principle, the six-port device consists of linear dividers and combiners interconnected in such a way that four different vectorial additions of a reference signal (LO) and the signal to be detected are obtained. Stability1 of the Keysight 85131H is less than 0.12 dB and phase is 0.13o * f + 0.5o, (where f is frequency in GHz).
