It is an integrated module consisting of a MEMS chip, micro-optics and control electronics and interface. When receiving a stream of optical signals of a plurality of wavelengths from the Input-Port (IN), the 2-port tunable optical filter directs a selected channel to the Output-Port (OUT). Wavelength (frequency) tuning is achieved by changing driving voltage applied to the MEMS chip, via the control electronics and the built-in firmware.

The PXIe-7861 features a dedicated A/D converter (ADC) per channel for independent timing and triggering. The MR3 Magnetoresistive Milligauss Meter measures and displays the three vectorcomponents (X, Y, Z) as well as the magnitude (M) of the static magnetic field. Update is two times per second. The three sensors are in a 25 mm (1") cube at the end of a flexible 100 cm (40") cable. It can be powered by 4 AA batteries (included) or a Worldwide AC adaptor (included). It can collect and store data (X, Y, Z and M) for later download or stream data live via USB connector. Both the instantaneous values of X, Y, Z and M, and their peak values, are displayed on the meter screen. "Peak" values are the highest values seen since the peak reset button was pressed. Maximum error of sensitivity is +/- 0.5 % of the reading, and the maximum error of the offset is +/- 0.50 milligauss. Range is +/- 1999.99 milligauss with resolution 0.01 milligauss (or 1 nT) over the full range, displayed simultaneously for X, Y, Z and M.

Arbitrary Waveform Generator
The M4i.66xx-x8 series arbitrary waveform generators (AWG) deliver the highest performance in both speed and resolution. The series includes PCIe cards with either one, two or four synchronous channels. The large onboard memory can be segmented to replay different waveform sequences. The AWG features a PCI Express x8 Gen 2 interface that offers outstanding data streaming performance. The interface and Spectrum’s optimized drivers enable data transfer rates in excess of 2.8 GB/s so that signals can continuously replayed at a high output rate. While the cards have been designed using the latest technology they are still software compatible with the drivers from earlier Spectrum waveform generators. So, existing customers can use the same software they developed for a 10 year old 20 MS/s AWG card and for an M4i series 625 MS/s AWG.
