This range of High-Density Multiplexer is part of our BRIC family. These MUX's are designed to simplify the connection of a common set of test equipment to one of a number of different devices for testing (simultaneous multiple channel selection is also possible, without limitation). These multiplexers are ideal for applications where the equipment needs to conduct the same test process on a series of similar devices one at a time. The M4x.66xx-x4 series arbitrary waveform generators (AWG) deliver the highest performance in both speed and resolution. The series includes PXI Express (PXIe) cards with either one, two or four synchronous channels. The large onboard memory can be segmented to replay different waveform sequences. The AWG features a PCI Express x4 Gen 2 interface that offers outstanding data streaming performance. The interface and Spectrum’s optimized drivers enable data transfer rates in excess of 2.8 GB/s so that signals can continuously replayed at a high output rate. While the cards have been designed using the latest technology they are still software compatible with the drivers from earlier Spectrum waveform generators. So, existing customers can use the same software they developed for a 10 year old 20 MS/s AWG card and for an M4x series 625 MS/s AWG.

Breakout board for the MAX31855J digital thermocouple interface ICs by Maxim. Measured temperature range is -210C-1200C with known thermal characteristics and output resolution of 0.25C. This sensor supports a larger operating range (specifically in the negative range) than its predecessors, the MAX6674 and MAX6675, though it is not pin-pin compatible. This board is interfaced with a 0.1" 2x5 pin header (8-pins used), has four vertical mini thermocouple connectors and four mounting holes for standoffs and 4-40 screws. The SEN-30003 is interfaced via 3 or 4-wire SPI with a data-ready output for specific operating modes. An LDO and a high-speed level shifter are included to allow interfacing with microcontroller devices between 3.0V and 5V (all Arduinos, Raspberry PI, etc) without sacrificing device performance (many other level shifters reduce data rates to below 500 kHz).
