NREL calibrated cell used for calibration transfer.The Abet Technologies solar reference cell is a precision instrument for the determination of solar simulator irradiance levels. The sensor is a mono-crystalline silicon solar cell having an area of2x2cm(4cm).The back of the solar cell is attached to the device in such a way that a good heat transfer to the device housing is guaranteed. Below the solar cell a Pt100 RTD temperature sensor is mounted to allow monitoring of device temperature. The device is not shunted allowing the whole IV-curve to be measured. The solar cell is protected by a high quality fused silica window, assuring spectral sensitivity over a 320 -1100 nm range.

Get a low-cost means to introduce a gas without thermal pre-cracking using Veeco’s low-temperature gas source for molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems. The source features a large conductance tube for fast gas switching and a diffuser end plate for good growth uniformity. It is an ideal gas injector for CBr4 for carbon doping in GaAs and NH3 for GaN growth, as well as any other gases that do not require thermal pre-cracking. The Kratos Ar Gas Cluster Ion Source (GCIS) is optimised for depth profiling organic materials in Arn+ cluster mode and inorganic materials in Ar+ monomer mode, dependent on the operating parameters defined by the user and the type of material to be profiled. In Arn+ ion cluster mode the ions can be accelerated up to a maximum of 20 keV. This enables the successful sputter depth profiling of the widest range of polymer materials to be undertaken. However, Arn+ cluster depth profiling has been shown to give very low sputter yields for inorganic materials. In order to retain the capability of generating depth profiles from this class of materials this ion source can also be operated in the more conventional Ar monomer (Ar+) mode.
