The system interfaces with any FM receiver or transceiver via the antenna jack and the earphone jack. The SC800 nanoSynth® is a fully integrated broadband CW signal synthesizer that combines multiple PLL, DDS, and frequency dividers into a rugged and miniature 2”x1” surface mountable package. The output frequency range is 25 MHz to 6 GHz with average output power of +10 dBm. Tuning at 1 Hz resolution, the multiple PLL architecture eliminates close-in phase spurs that are associated with fractional-N PLLs. To simplify user communication with the device, an onboard microprocessor performs all necessary computations to control and set the output frequency, reducing the number and complexity of instruction registers.

The HV test hood according to Performance Level e (ISO 13849-1), developed by us according to the EN50191 standard (erection and operation of fixed and temporary electrical test installations), offers the highest safety for the operator. The large test chamber is enclosed with a hood made of sturdy, highly insulating and transparent plastic. During the test, there is a clear view of the test specimen. A signal light visually indicates safe opening when the light is “green”. “Red light” symbolises danger, the hood cannot be opened due to the safety interlock. The safety switch also ensures that the hood cannot be opened during the test. This means that the test hood fulfils all the required specifications for compulsory contact protection.

Integrating Spheres

Integrating spheres are used especially for measuring divergent light sources such as LEDs. The light is introduced through the input port, then reflected many times by the highly reflective interior of the sphere until it illuminates the inner surface uniformly. A detector samples a small fraction of this light to measure the total power input. Ophir integrating spheres have a highly reflective diffuse white coating for measurements independent of beam size, position and divergence. There are several sphere sizes, apertures and wavelength regions available. The large IS6 series has 2 configurations for measuring divergent or parallel beams.
