Waveguide Bends
Fairview Microwave’s lines of precision waveguide bends are widely used in applications such as high efficiency RF, microwave and mm-wave transmissions, satellite and military communications, radar, telecom, instrumentation and test benches. In waveguide systems that require a signal to turn or bend 90 degrees, Fairview’s waveguide bends are used to facilitate that bend or turn without degrading the transmission signal. These WG bends operate from 5.85 GHz to 90 GHz across 12 frequency bands and are available in sizes from WR-12 to WR-137. This family of waveguide bends also boast low loss and VSWR as low as 1.08:1 and are available in both E-plane and H-plane configurations. They are constructed using gold plated, oxygen free hard copper (OFHC) or painted copper alloy depending on the model and are also offered with either a UG-style flange per the military standard or a CPR-style flange. Many models are RoHS compliant.

The 40-735 data communications multiplexer is designed for switching the data lines of serial interfaces (RS232, USB). Careful attention to the design of the module ensures that the switching system minimizes its impact on the transmission distance of USB1.1 interfaces. The MUX is available in 36:1 or 18:1 formats and enables a single source of serial data to be switched to one of 36 or 18 devices under test. The 60-983 is an LXI compatible Wired Trigger Bus Terminator (WTB) designed to be attached to the end of a WTB cable. The LXI WTB uses a transmission line cable to connect LXI devices together that support the WTB capability of the LXI standard. Like all transmissions it needs to be correctly terminated to avoid reflections that could change the signal amplitude along the cable and generate timing jitter or trigger errors. The 60-983 is a simple terminator that can be placed at each end of the WTB chain to correctly terminate the transmission line with minimal reflections.

Columbia's SI-701 Series of Inclinometers are electronic tilt sensors based on Force Balance Accelerometer technology. They produce high level low impedance output proportional to the sine of the tilt angle. Model SI-701B is a low cost general purpose sensor that can be up-graded with the addition of the Columbia "HP" torquer system (SI-701BI) for greater accuracy and ruggedness. A bi-axial version of both units (SI-702B) is also available. The Model SI-701BI is designed with an output circuit made for 4-20mA data transmission systems for industrial applications. The model SI-701FND is a fluid dampened premium performance inclinometer designed to produce accurate tilt data in extreme shock and vibration environments. MT97x, MT98x and XT98x series automated tuners (also known as automated impedance tuners and automated load pull tuners) are precision instruments that are optimized for a broad class of in-fixture and on-wafer applications, and may be used in any automated or manual application requiring the ability to match the impedance of a microwave circuit element or to establish specific impedances at a terminal interface. The tuner design is based on the slide screw concept using the inherently broadband slab-line transmission structure. Resistors
A passive two-terminal electrical component that implements electrical resistance as a circuit element. In electronic circuits, resistors are used to reduce current flow, adjust signal levels, to divide voltages, bias active elements, and terminate transmission lines, among other uses. High-power resistors that can dissipate many watts of electrical power as heat may be used as part of motor controls, in power distribution systems, or as test loads for generators.
