BRIC™ - Large PXI Matrix Modules
High Density Packaging and Integrated BackplanesWith Pickering's BRIC Large PXI Matrix Modules, the use of high density packaging and integrated backplanes enables a large matrix to be implemented with no user configuration or special matrix expansion kits. These matrices use thru-hole mechanical relays (not surface mount) and can be serviced using standard de-soldering tools simplifying repair and reducing down time. Our BRIC's integrated design ensures high matrix performance with high signal bandwidth and fewer system implementation errors.

M9122A
The M9122A is an 8x32 full crosspoint switch matrix offering high-voltage switching in a high-density PXI module. This module allows for higher voltage switching of multiple channels in a single instance. Any row can be connected to any column, making it ideal for routing instrument signals to the device under test. This module is configured with a common ground. The durable armature switches are capable of switching up to 100Vrms, with up to 60W of power. The 8-wide bus can be used to route signals between your instruments and the device under test. Choose from the durable connector block or standard cable connections.

Single 8x2 1-Pole 16 Amp PXI Power Matrix

The 40-552 range of 16 Amp PXI power matrix modules is available in four configurations with matrix sizes of 8x2 and 4x4 and the ability to expand the matrix size with the Y-Axis loop-thru connections: e.g. 8x4, 12x4, 16x4, etc. (with 4x4 matrices) or 16x2, 24x2, 32x2, etc. (with 8x2 matrices). This range is capable of switching up to 16 Amps and up to 300VDC/250VAC hot switching and 400VDC/250VAC cold switching. These PXI power matrix modules are intended for switching heavy AC or DC loads or for the slave switching of large external relays, contactors, and solenoids.

All models use gold-plated contact electromechanical relays. The PXI matrix modules are designed for switching medium voltage and power signals. The user signal connection is via a robust 78, 50 or 37 pin D-Type or 160 pin DIN 41612 connector that is fully supported by the wide range of our cable and connector accessories.
