The EM-6851 Omni-Directional Wideband Antenna is capable of operating as either a transmitting or receiving antenna over the 2 to 18 GHz frequency range. This antenna provides a 45% size reduction when compared to similarly performing models. The antenna is enclosed in a weather resistant radome. The length of the support rod allows a microwave amplifier to be connected directly to the output connector, reducing the potential signal loss compared to an amplifier connected at a more distant point.

Test Port Adapter
The Keysight 85130H test port adapter protects the test set port from being directly connected to the device under test. This adapter has a special rugged female connector that connects to the network analyzer test port. This special connector does not mate with a standard male connector but converts the rugged test set port to a connection that will mate with the device under test. This set contains a 1.85 mm to 1.85 mm male adapter and a 1.85 mm to 1.85 mm female adapter. The frequency range for these adapters is dc to 67 GHz with a return loss of 23 dB or better.

The Waveform Generation Tool provides a simplified interface for baseband modulation of Keysight's wide bandwidth signal simulation solutions, for signals with up to 1 GHz RF bandwidth. Even the most complex signals are defined and implemented easily through the software interface. Signals can be defined through basic parameter entry or from files created in MATLAB or other engineering environments. For each selection in the main menu, a subsequent screen appears, enabling the user to enter the parameters required to define the waveform and invoke the built-in calibration routines. A display on each sub-panel shows the ideal frequency domain waveform calculated from entered parameters. The EM-6105 is a broad band collinear array allowing very wide Omni-Directional frequency coverage in a single package. Below approximately 100 MHz, the EM-6105 acts as an active vertical rod which offers 10 to 12 dB more signal handling capability than competitive antennas (overload field strength: 2 V/meter) which greatly reduces intermodulation generated signals in a typical read world RF environment. In the congested spectrum above 100 MHz the antenna is passive and contributes no intermodulation products so the overload point is determined solely by the receiving instrument. This immunity to overload can often make the difference between useful signal output and an indecipherable jumble of spurious products and is accomplished without compromising sensitivity. The antenna collapses for convenient storage and transport. The EM-6105 is supplied with an EM-6106 Battery Pack.
