After training on the font samples, the system practically does not require the operator's attention in addition to setting the current marking for control. The character set can be specified by the operator or transmitted via the interface from the printer or from the enterprise information system.The camera software works autonomously: it loads all settings from the camera's permanent memory, initializes the backlight electronics and waits for a signal from the object presence sensor. When a signal is received from the sensor (an object in the shooting area), the camera captures the frame, searches for markings and analyzes the symbols for their compliance with the exemplary set.

Motionnet comprises of a high-speed serial communication system that involves Master card and Slave modules. ICP DAS USA has two categories of Slave devices: Digital I/O, and Motion Control. Users' actuators/sensors can be easily connected with our Motionnet devices. Motion control modules work together with either a Servo or Stepping motor. Motionnet communication between a Master and the Slaves devices is based on RS-485 technology (Multi-drop, Half-duplex). This technology provides the advantage of simplifying connectivity of devices between remote distances while still offering high speed. Crossing Control Bypass Switch

The XCBS is permanently wired into each crossing warning system, and can be configured with either a removable or non-removable bypass key. Simply connect the crossing control circuits to the designated terminals on the XCBS. The rotating "knife switch" on the left side of the XCBS allows the crossing warning system to be controlled for manual test purposes. To prevent unnecessary operation of the crossing warning system, insert the key and select "bypass", rotate the knife switch to "bypass" and the crossing is disabled. The non-removable bypass key adds an additional level of security for the Bypass function. Optional hookup can be made to the auxiallary terminals to include the activation of a strobe or event recorder input when the XCBS is placed in the "bypass" position.
