We can manufacture chip resistors using a variety of substrates in various thicknesses to meet your specific needs. Resistors can be produced with element features under 0.002 inch for high density or high value resistor applications. Low noise stable TCR and chip sizes under 0.010 inch x 0.020 inch are routinely processed in production quantities. SemiGen’s series of Thin Film Resistors offer proven stability, low noise, and excellent TCR of both Tantalum Nitride (TaN) and Nichrome (NiC) resistive films. From our standard product offering, to custom requirements, this series of resistors is offered in a large selection of chip size, resistance values, and tolerances.

Altitude Testing
Our environmental testing facilities simulate altitude testing from -400 ft. (-121 meters) to outer space at 100,000 ft. (30,480 meters) or up to 10-6 Torr (1.3e-7 kPa) with temperature applied as low as -300°F (180C). We can reach these heights within 5 minutes or less. We are capable to handle products measuring up to 4ft X 4ft X 8ft to many standards, including MIL-STD-810 and RTCA DO-160.

Temperature/Humidity Testing
Quest has 14 environmental chambers ranging in size from 1 cubic foot to over 1,000 cubic feet, covering temperatures from below -100C to temperatures exceeding 200C. Our temperature/humidity test chambers include one of the largest walk-in chambers (15 x 10 x 8 ft) in New England, table top, high humidity, thermal shock, and high ramp rate test chambers.
