Electrochemical cells are designed to their special purpose. The method, the matter and their reactions as well as the environmental conditions define the limitations and demands for electrochemical cells and the electrodes. Standard corrosion testing cells may have a large volume, since corrosion products shall not change the solution grossly during the test. On the other hand, it may be valuable to collect corrosion products - then a very small volume is desired ("eluation cell"). Special corrosion tests for pitting reqiure a setup where undesired crevice corrosion is excluded ("Avesta cell" , "Quarfort Cell" or "Flushed port cell". Or you want to investigate in crevice corrosion, then the cell design should meet such conditions. These features may be incorporated into CSZ test chambers and tailored to the various hazard levels of EUCAR (European Council for Automotive R&D), a consortium of European car manufacturers. To better assess the hazard potential of tests, EUCAR has investigated hazardous situations and divided them into eight risk classes. The development of the safety equipment of our battery test systems is also based on this classification. For each hazard level, we recommend specific safety options that can be included with your chamber to meet your specifications to safety test your product. Together with our customers, we assess which safety devices are necessary for the respective test chambers.

The Keysight 10717A Wavelength Tracker tracks changes in the air's index of refraction to optically compensate for environmental changes. It uses one axis of a laser measurement system to report wavelength of light changes, not changes in position. This sensor is an extremely accurate digital (I2C interface) temperature and humidity sensing device, with +/-0.2C temperature and +/-2% humidity accuracy typical. These specs far exceed the accuracy of ICs that came before it, including the HTU2x and SHT1x series, and improves upon the success of the SHT2x that came before it. In addition, the SHT31-DIS-B has a wide input voltage range of 2.4V-5.5V and includes temperature isolation and airflow cutouts as recommended for the optimal operation. Finally, in the case of environmental changes that could cause light condensation, the SHT31-DIS-B has a built-in heater to burn off any condensate.
