The Model T100U Trace-level SO2 analyzer has been developed specifically to address the challenges of low level monitoring as required, for example, in the US NCore network. It uses the proven UV fluorescence principle, and is designed to allow ultra-sensitive SO2 measurements while still meeting the requirements for use as a US EPA compliance analyzer.The analyzer uses both the light and dark phases of the pulsed UV light source to continuously detect and correct for electronic noise, giving exceptionally stable and sensitive performance. A separate UV detector allows the instrument to continuously correct for variations in lamp intensity. Exceptional stability is achieved with the use of an optical shutter to compensate for PMT drift, and a reference detector to correct for changes in UV lamp intensity. A hydrocarbon "kicker" and advanced optical design combine to prevent inaccuracies due to interferents.

Long Light Source

The long light source is compatible with the LM-101 or the LMC-20. The light is supplied with a 50 watt tungsten halogen convection cooled light source which provides suffcient energy for use with narrow band pass filters or monochronomators in the wave length range of .35 to 2.5 microns. The light beam is chopped at 200 hz by a quiet, vibration free, synchronous motor. The housing also contains a secondary LED light source and detector for synchronization of the amplifier, plus an electro-mechanical shutter to block the light output when the instrument is zeroed. An internal collimating lens produces a narrow beam (<1") so the LM-A can be used in bell-jar and large coating systems.

Gas Filter Correlation Carbon Monoxide Analyzer
Model T300
The Model T300 measures low ranges of carbon monoxide by comparing infrared energy absorbed by a sample to that absorbed by a reference gas according to the Beer-Lambert law. Using a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, a high energy IR light source is alternately passed through a CO filled chamber and a chamber with no CO present. The light path then travels through the sample cell, which has a folded path of 14 meters. The energy loss through the sample cell is compared with the span reference signal provided by the filter wheel to produce a signal proportional to concentration, with little effect from interfering gases within the sample. This design produces excellent zero and span stability and high signal to noise ratio, allowing extreme sensitivity. All T Series instruments offer an advanced color display, capacitive touch screen, intuitive user interface, flexible I/O, and built-in data acquisition capability. All instrument set up, control and access to stored data and diagnostic information, is available through the front panel, or via RS232, Ethernet, or USB com ports, either locally or by remote connection.The Model T300 comes with NumaView™ Software. QE system provides electronics and software designed for fully automated measurement of external quantum efficiency of solar cells. All systems include probes and a fixed plate sample stage for samples up to 150 mm x 150 mm. The main system components include: custom designed software, measurement electronics, and computer system (Windows 8 operating system). The measurement involves focusing monochromatic light to a spot on the device under test, then accurately measuring the photon flux and current from the test cell. The system utilizes a dual beam configuration with lock-in detection, providing an absolute accuracy of ±3%. The QE system uses a grating monochrometer with silicon/InGaAs/Ge detectors. The system includes automatic order sorting filters and two light sources for monochromatic illumination (a Xenon- arc lamp and a halogen lamp). A single lock-in amplifier is used to measure both the reference detector and test device. The main system comes with all the hardware needed to measure quantum efficiency, a fixed plate sample stage and probes.

This approach dramatically improves the acquisition time, enables a high-precision wavelength meter mode with 7 significant figures and ±1 part-per-million accuracy, and allows the included software to provide robust statistical analysis of the acquired spectra, as explained in the Design tab.

Light-resistant Integrating Sphere
The integrating sphere is used for total luminous flux measurement. It uniforms the light by spatially integrating the collected light of light source. The integrating sphere has highly reflective diffusing plates formed on the spheres internal surfaces. These plates repeatedly scatter light rays from the light source with in the sphere to all other points to deliver uniform brightness distribution so measuring a portion of that light gives the total luminous flux.
