To deliver superior analytical performance and reliability, the EDXRF measuring head assembly was derived from the established Rigaku NEX Series high-resolution benchtop instrumentation. With this proven technology, the Rigaku NEX LS delivers rapid, non-destructive, multi-element analyses — for coat weight, coating thickness and/or composition — for elements from aluminum (Al) through uranium (U). The measuring head is mounted on a rigid beam and is equipped with a linear traversing mechanism positioned over a roller so that the head-to-surface distance is constant. Common applications include silicone release coaters, converters, denesting Si for vacuum-formed plastics, RoHS compliance, conversion coatings, metalized plastic, top coatings on metal coil and fire retardants on fabric.

Vacuum Quality Monitor Systems
The 835 VQM is a mass spectrometer that operates from UHV to 10-5 Torr and accurately measures the gases in the vacuum chamber. The 835 VQM Differential Pump System delivers the advantages of the 835 VQM at higher pressures. The VQM system consists of an autoresonant ion trap mass spectrometer gauge, a VQM Controller and VQM Viewer software that that converts raw data into actionable information. The system is ratiometric, meaning that it determines the ratio of each gas to other gases in a vacuum chamber. The heated ESI probe, high-temperature heating block, desolvation line (DL) and drying gas, all act to promote desolvation and prevent contamination due to the penetration of liquid droplets into the MS unit. The IS1.5-VIS-FPD-800 & IS1.5-IRG-FPD-800 contain 2 photodiodes: a calibrated photodiode for precise power measurement using Ophir meters and a fast photodiode with integral reverse bias circuit for temporal characterization using third-party instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. Their small, 1.5" internal diameter preserves the temporal shape of pulses down to 3.5 nsec for VIS and 6 nsec for IRG. An SMA fiber optic connector is provided for connection to a spectrometer. The large, 20 mm input aperture allows for wide acceptance angles and long working distances, making these spheres well suited for testing VCSELs and other types of laser.
