LXI Chassis
Our LXI chassis allow any of our 3U PXI switch modules and many of our instrumentation modules to be controlled in an Ethernet environment. You may also be interested in our 2-Slot USB/LXI Chassis, this chassis allows most of our 1 or 2-slot PXI modules to be controlled via USB or Ethernet. LXI 50Ω RF Matrix - 2.4GHz
Pickering's LXI 50Ω RF Matrix - 2.4GHz design permits any single Y input to be connected to any single X input, permitting the concurrent connection of 16 RF paths. All signal paths are bi-directional permitting any connection to be used as an input or an output. These matrices can be supplied in a variety of configurations based on Y axis sizes of 4, 8 and 16 and X axis sizes up to 32. The smaller matrix sizes in the range are factory reconfigurable up to the maximum size.

LXI Optical Switching - 16x16 Matrix Plugin Module

The 65-280-314 16x16 matrix is part of the 65-280 and 65-281 ranges of optical plug-in modules offering matrix & insert/bypass or multiplexer & SPST topologies respectively with all models based on MEMS fiber optic switches and available in various populations per plugin. In addition, a choice of different connector styles to suit most applications is offered: FC/APC (for optimal performance), FC/PC, SC/PC and ST for general applications and LC for high density applications. They use MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems) based optical switches to route signals between terminals by redirecting the optical signal. This is achieved using micromechanical mirrors driven by a highly precise mechanism activated via an electrical control signal.
