The 41-650 is a 5 channel voltage amplifier ideal for increasing the output voltage from other PXI modules, enabling users to easily generate the signal voltages commonly required in applications such as automotive test. Each amplifier can be independently programmed to a gain of 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20, enabling it to be used with modules with low output voltage capability. Inputs and outputs can be provided either on SMB connectors or on a D Type connector to suite the user’s wiring system.

Push-Pull Flexible Cables
New FPC connectors corresponding to the manufacturer’s recommended flexible board thickness of 0.15 mm and 0.2 mm for 0.3 mm pitch and 0.25 mm and 0.3 mm for 0.5 mm pitch are affixed to a proud plate and inserted and disconnected 10 times. The connectors are replaced with new connectors after checking conductivity, and the test is repeated with the number of insertion/disconnection cycles recorded for each pitch and board until conductivity fails.he boards are inserted and disconnected manually, taking care to insert and disconnect horizontally. The boards are inserted with the connector opened and disconnected with the connector closed.(Durability figures are guidelines, not guarantees. Actual performance will depend on connector specifications and conditions of use. Hold connectors close to the pins when inserting and disconnecting.)

OWL fiber optic visual fault locators (VFL) are specially designed to couple a maximum of optical energy into multimode and singlemode optical fibers by using a bright red fiber optic laser. Breaks, microbends, and other anomalies in optical fibers and connectors cause the intense bright red laser light to escape, thus revealing the presence of a fault. In addition to visual fault location, OWL VFLs can be used as a visual optical fiber identifier. A visual fiber optic identifier eliminates much of the guesswork during testing by identifying the fiber under test.

Right Angle Waveguide to Coax Adapters
Fairview Microwave right angle waveguide to coax adapters include millimeter wave frequency ranges with models in the K-band (18 to 26.5 GHz) up to the V-band (50 to 65 GHz). These right angle waveguide to coax adapters offer excellent VSWR as low as 1.29:1, while also providing insertion loss performance as low as 0.3 dB. This Hardy Shaker provides the ability to set the amplitude and change the frequency range without the amplitude changing. This automation makes conducting a test easier. A test can be conducted on a vibration transducer and manually recorded. Multiple tests are not saved; for multiple tests use the HI-903 or HI-803 units. The HI-913 is used for testing from 7 to 10,000 Hz, it offers adjustable frequency and vibration levels. This provides a reference source for verifying the accuracy of vibration transducers, connectors, cabling and instruments or instrumentation systems. The HI-913 has a ruggedized suspension system that can support heavy transducers (up to 800 grams - see frequency limits in the manual). The HI-913 has a built-in battery charger that can operate on 120 or 240 VAC. The unit comes in a rugged Pelican case.

The AG-51 Audio Generator contains a low distortion 20 Hz to 200 kHz sine wave generator, an SMPTE standard intermodulation signal generator and a fixed frequency sine wave generator at 3.15 kHz for wow and flutter tests. Signal outputs are simultaneously available at levels of up to +20 dBm (equivalent sine wave power for complex signals) at separate left (L OUT) and right (R OUT) output connectors. Outputs may be selected for left (L) only, right (R) only, left and right in phase (L+R), and left and right in phase opposition (L-R). Fully balanced or unbalanced outputs at impedance levels 150 ohms or 600 ohms are front panel selectable. Three precision attenuators (10, 1.0 and 0.1 dB) provide a dynamic range of 99.9 dB in 0.1 dB steps. Attenuator dials display the output level directly in dBm in the 150 ohm source impedance configuration. Automatic output leveling circuitry with a built-in self-test feature provides a constant output level thereby eliminating the need for output metering. In the TEST mode the generator output level is reduced to zero, a useful feature during noise measurements.
