Chamber/Pyroelectric Task

Radiant's Chamber/Pyroelectric Task sets the sample to a series of temperatures by performingGPIB control of an external thermal device. At each temperature it captures the sample’s polarization response and/or small-signalcapacitance. These are combined to calculate the pyroelectric coefficient. The Pyroelectric Task is to be used with a Radiant Test System and a Linkam Stage (-196C to 600C), Thermal Chambers, Hot Chucks, or a Furnace to automatically measure the Pulse Polarization response and Small Signal Capacitance of a Pyroelectric material that is being heated and/or cooled. Radiant's Pyroelectric measurement Task can be added to Vision at additional cost. This measurement suite fully characterizes the pyroelectric charge (polarization) response of the sample under test. The Pyroelectric Task suite controls various thermal controllers such as Quantum Design, Lake Shore, Delta Design, and many others. Detailed Listing of Thermal Controllers Registered in Vision. ELTRA’s CW-800 analyzer is designed for the precise, simultaneous determination of carbon dioxide and water in lime, gypsum and cement from trace level up to 100 % (depending on sample weight). Other sample materials include ores, soil and minerals. The CW-800 is equipped with a resistance furnace with quartz tube for sample oxidation and can provide temperatures up to 1000 °C. Moisture Testers for Wood

Here you will find a moisture tester for wood to determine absolute moisture in different wood types. Newly-cut logs can have a moisture content of 80% or more, depending on the type. Since wood shrinks substantially when dried, it must be dried before being used in construction or most other applications. This is most often done using a large furnace called a kiln. The air drying method may also be used, but this is much slower. With the help of the moisture tester for wood you will be able to measure with high accuracy moisture in, not only raw wood, but also rolled paper products, planks, slats, beams, plywood, panels, particle board, main beams, window frames, etc., anything wooden. There are two ways of measuring moisture, these two ways are with or without damaging the material. The majority of types of moisture testers we offer at PCE do not damage the wood, or damage it very slightly.The moisture tester for wood is characterized by the measuring principle and the moisture sensors that can be adapted to it. The moisture tester for wood has special characteristics such as an automatic compensation of temperature. Besides, data can be stored and transferred to a PC or laptop, or characteristic curves can be programmed for specific wood types (only with the model FMD).
