The Keysight 11667A power splitter is recommended when making wideband ratio measurements using a Keysight 8757 scalar network analyzer. This two-resistor type power splitter provides excellent output SWR at the auxilliary arm when used for source leveling or ratio measurement applications. The tracking between output arms over a frequency range from dc to 18 GHz allows wideband measurements to be made with a minimum of uncertainty.

The 409B generates four independent, phase synchronous sine wave output signals and is programmable in 0.1 Hz steps from 0.1 Hz to 171 MHz. Programming is via an RS232 serial interface. Phase is 14-bit programmable and amplitude is 10-bit programmable. Internal memory can store a sequence of settings. The -AC option is available to enable users to step through settings using an external trigger. It is accurate to 1.5 ppm using the on board TCXO timebase or you can use an external timebase, There is also a /R option that provides a way to lock to and track an external 10MHz frequency input. A line powered AC adapter and SOF8_409 windows software on a CD are included.

Solar Array Simulator
Among other things, solar array simulators are required for testing satellite power supplies. An SAS (Solar Array Simulator), consisting of an interconnection of several Solar Array Simulator modules, maps the solar panels and displays the individual strings connected in parallel. Optionally, the individual SAS modules are monitored by a Second Level Protection, so that the test object is not damaged in case of errors with the voltage sources. Additional circuitry is implemented via project-specific test modules. IV Curve Tracer

In recent years, we have been developing a sophisticated IV curve tracer for PV modules including a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) function. The IV curve tracer is designed for operation with any market-available steady-state solar simulator. Through our web-based software design, the operator can supervise the test results from every computer in a company network. The software contains functions such as an irradiation sum counter that helps to check requirements stated in a stabilization test like they are defined in IEC 61215 (MQT 19). We have also included a correction function to correct the traced IV curves to standard test conditions (STC) when the user enters the required temperature coefficients. One of the most important features is the multi-IV curve tracing function, which enables the user to display more than 150 IV curves in one graph. This eases the analysis of the weakest cells in hot-spot tests, which are required in IEC 61730 (MST 22) and IEC 61215 (MQT 09).
