Video Distribution Amplifiers (sometimes called a video splitter – not to be confused with a video split screen controller such as our PXD510E split screen controller) are typically used for connecting a camera or other video source to several monitors that do not have “looping” inputs. In this situation, each monitor has a permanent 75 ohm termination. With two non-looping monitors connected together, the line would be double loaded and result in a dim picture on each monitor. Using a Video Distribution Amplifier will solve this problem by driving each monitor individually at 100%.The second application is when the video signal is run over distances greater than 50 feet. The coaxial cable has a fair amount of signal loss over long distances. These probes have great bandwidth ensuring accurate measurement even with harmonically distorted wave shapes. For all RCT1A/RCT models, a NIST, NAVLAP, NPL (UKAS) factory traceable calibration certificate and certificate of conformance is supplied. UL/CSA approved materials are used throughout. Three phase and single phase flexible AC current sensors (rope sensors) are available for fast installation in confined spaces, eliminating the need for Electrical Supply Shutdown.
