This RTD Simulator is a PCI card that supports 6 channels of RTD simulation. The card can provides a setting resolution of <90mΩ (also available in <8mΩ - PT100) and a resistance accuracy of better than 0.1% on all channels. Each simulation channel is able to provide a short or open circuit setting to simulate faulty wiring connections to a sensor. Calibration or verification of each resistor channel can be verified by using the calibration port connected to a high performance DMM and a supplied software package.

The ProDAQ 5821 series of Signal Conditioning Cards is designed to interface with a variety of sensors, principally RTDs, Thermistors, Cryogenic Diodes and Voltage type sensors. Each version of the 5821 provides the capability of precise 4-wire measurement. In order to achieve this, a precise 500μA constant current source is provided per channel. The current source can be disabled on a per channel basis and is monitored to ensure that current is flowing. The value of the output current is stored on-board after calibration. In order to achieve the highest accuracy the output current may be automatically calibrated 'on-the-fly' using the ProDAQ 3416 24-bit Sigma-Delta ADC card and an on-board precision resistor.

The GX3700 is a user configurable, FPGA-based, 3U PXI card which offers 160 digital I/O signals which can be configured for single-ended or differential interfaces. The card employs the Altera Stratix III FPGA, which can support SerDes data rates up to 1.2 Gb/s, digital I/O clock rates of 700 MHz, and features 47,500 logic elements and 2.1 kb of memory. The GX3700 is supplied with an integral expansion board providing access to the FPGA’s 160 I/Os. Alternatively, users can design their own custom expansion cards for specific applications - eliminating the need for additional external boards which are cumbersome and physically difficult to integrate into a test system. The design of the FPGA is done by using Altera’s free Quartus II Web Edition tool set. Once the user has compiled the FPGA design, the configuration file can be loaded into the FPGA directly or via an on-board EEPROM.
