Reference-class linear stage. Linear positioning stages with magnetic direct drives largely dispense with mechanical components in the drivetrain and the drive force acts directly on the motion platform. Together with precision bearings, a high travel accuracy and longer lifetime is achieved. The linear positioning stages are particularly suitable for scanning applications. PIMag® Voice Coil. Voice coil drives consist of 2 essential components: A permanent magnet and a coil, which is located in the air gap of the magnetic field. When current flows through the coil, it moves in the magnetic field of the permanent magnet. The direction of motion depends on the polarity. Thanks to their low weight and friction-free drive principle, voice coil drives are particularly suitable for applications, which require high dynamics and high velocities at limited travel ranges. High scan frequencies and precision positioning are also possible with these drives, because they are free of the effects of hysteresis.

Connecting the UUT to probes can be approached both from the top and the bottom and, optionally, even from the side. The ergonomic housing provides generous space for additional measuring electronics. The back and bottom of the housing can be adapted to the various test system interfaces.

The MD-250-M is a compact dynamometer with industry proven design features including 10.7-inch rollers, heavy duty spherical pillow-block ball bearings, welded structural steel frame, 7.5 hp calibration motor, and an industry standard air-cooled, Eddy Current Power Absorption Unit (PAU) for road-load simulation. The MD-250-M is available in both right and left hand configurations to accommodate different facility designs.

National RF’s Type HFDF high frequency location system is a proven noise hunting and location directional antenna system that allows you, in many cases, to walk right up to the source of High Frequency (HF) noise! Used by several power companies around the United States, professional noise hunters, and other communications specialists, the HFDF has located noise sources that emanated from pole power transformers, arcing electric fences, CATV in-line amplifiers, plasma TV screens, and even Marijuana grower’s heating lamps! The system incorporates several plug-in, tunable magnetic loop sensors of a proprietary National RF design, that cover the frequency range between 1.8 MHz and 55 MHz. The unit is packaged in a hand-held, lightweight metallic enclosure, with a pistol grip and a magnetic compass mounted on top. The compass is used to get magnetic bearings to the noise source, which may be plotted on a map to triangulate, and ultimately pin-point, the location of the noise source. In certain cases, our customers tell us that they have been able to walk right up to the interfering noise source and correct the situation on the spot!

By replacing the wheel of the actual vehicle with the tire type bearing, the axle shaft is taken out to the outside of the vehicle and connected to the low inertia motor.
