LAN Cable Tester

The LAN cable tester is a versatile, full-featured tool for testing many kinds of network cable. Loopback and remote tests may be performed automatically or manually, and will test cable continuity as well as identifying opens, shorts, reversed wiring, and miswiring in cables up to 2,000 ft. long. Shielded connectors allow the tester to test shielded twisted pair (STP) cables. The built-in tone generator generates a low emission frequency tone which can be detected by any market tone probe, making it easier to trace and locate cables. Uses 1 9V alkaline battery. CE Approved.

The EMO E450 cable tester will test for continuity, cross connection, and open circuit in cables fitted with NL8FC 8-pole and NL4FC 4-pole Speakon connectors, 3-pin XLR connectors, and 2 or 3 pole A-gauge jacks. EP retrofit kits are available to allow cables fitted with EP 4, 5, 6, or 8 pin connectors to be tested. The EP connectors fit in two pre-punched holes on the rear of the tester accessed by removing the blanking panel. The kit's flying leads plug directly into connectors mounted on the tester's PCB.

FST-500 High Voltage Cable Tester is a modular and customizable cable tester that can be easily adapted to various cable test or cable harness test applications. The electronics is based on Finero’s rugged industrial grade FST range of standard test equipment. All set and measured values are shown on alphanumeric display, additionally there is an analog panel meter for output voltage. Other cable paramerter like L, C and R can also be tested by using optional test and measurement equipment. The tester can be ordered with a build in PC and it can be used in conjunction with Finero’s Quality Control software.
