The 40-667A-011 is a dual 3-channel 30A MUX and is part of our range of high current multiplexers occupying two slots of PXI chassis. Each multiplexer switch uses a fully isolated solid state relay which has been designed to offer fast operation under hot switching conditions and high inrush current with no operational life degradation. Each multiplexer channel can support 10A of continuous current and switch up to 200V signals. The switches can sustain inrush currents in excess of 50A. AC or DC signals can be switched since the switch is polarity insensitive.

PXIe, 7-Channel, 10 A PXI Signal Insertion Switch Module—The PXIe‑2512 fault insertion unit (FIU) is designed for hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) applications and electronic reliability tests. Each module has a set of feedthrough channels that you can open or short to one or more fault buses. You can use this architecture to simulate open or interrupted connections as well as shorts between pins, shorts to battery voltages, and shorts to ground on a per-channel basis. Each channel is fully isolated from ground and from each other allowing the channels to be connected in series to simulate batteries arranged in a stacked architecture. These MUX's are designed to simplify the connection of a common set of test equipment to one of a number of different devices for testing (simultaneous multiple channel selection is also possible, without limitation). The 40-205-008 (PXI) is an 8-channel fault insertion switch designed to simulate common faults on high speed two wire communication interfaces such as xBaseT1 Ethernet. It is available with 4 or 8 channels of two wire serial connections and can be used for simulating faults on 10BaseT1, 100BaseT1, 1000BaseT1 and 10GBaseT1 Ethernet interfaces. Any wire can be set as open circuit and shorts can be applied across wire pairs. Fault connections can be made to one of four external signals via two fault buses, typically simulating connections to supply voltage or ground.
