This range of High-Density Multiplexer is part of our BRIC family. These MUX's are designed to simplify the connection of a common set of test equipment to one of a number of different devices for testing (simultaneous multiple channel selection is also possible, without limitation). These multiplexers are ideal for applications where the equipment needs to conduct the same test process on a series of similar devices one at a time. They are available in a variety of configurations that allow testing with differing number of devices to be tested and different connection widths to suit differing test equipment pin counts. All version are supported in a BRIC8 construction that occupies eight PXI 3U mechanical slots, one of which provides the PXI interface and power.

ADLINK's PCIe-7256 features all Form C type relays, ideal for device connection with on/off control. With latching relays, the PCIe-7256 further provides operating power conservation, while the status of each latching relay output is indicated by onboard LED. When the relay is in SET, its corresponding LED lights. Latching relays also feature unchanged status even when the system powered off, making the PCIe-7256 suitable for critical applications requiring output status to be maintained even under fault conditions. All digital input channels are non-polar and optically isolated, and may be set for optional use of RC filter. The PCIe-7256 also features a change-of-state (COS) function generating interrupt when any digital input changes state.

The 40-667A-011 is a dual 3-channel 30A MUX and is part of our range of high current multiplexers occupying two slots of PXI chassis. Each multiplexer switch uses a fully isolated solid state relay which has been designed to offer fast operation under hot switching conditions and high inrush current with no operational life degradation. Each multiplexer channel can support 10A of continuous current and switch up to 200V signals. The switches can sustain inrush currents in excess of 50A. AC or DC signals can be switched since the switch is polarity insensitive.
