Color Sensor
The color sensor product family includes both RGB (Red, Green, Blue) and high-accuracy XYZ light sensors for precise color measurement, determination, and discrimination. XYZ sensors are capable of providing xy chromaticity co-ordinates in accordance with the CIE 1931 color map. The ams color sensors include filters to block unwanted IR light in the visible spectral range, enabling highly accurate color measurement. Proximity
Proximity detection sensors measure reflected infrared (IR) energy to detect the presence of an object or person. The devices include an integrated LED driver and, in some devices, an integrated LED. The proximity detection devices provide four programmable LED drive currents and IR pulse repetitions. The proximity detection circuitry compensates for ambient light, allowing it to operate in environments ranging from bright sunlight to dark rooms. The wide dynamic range allows operation in short-distance detection applications behind dark glass, such as mobile phones. The system consists of a powered pressure and temperature sensor with transmitter fitted to a wheel rim. This sends pressure and temperature data over an RF link to a compact receiver on the car. Sampling rates increase automatically when either a change in pressure is detected or when wheel inertia is detected. Multiple timing signals ("clocks") are required by CCDs, IR FPAs, and some CMOS image sensors to transport electrical charge across the array to a sense amplifier for conversion into image data. Pulse Instruments offers a line of "clock drivers" for generating these timing signals. The parameters of these clocks (clock rate, pulse width, pulse amplitude, rise- and fall-times, etc.) greatly influence the behavior and performance of the imaging device. Our products take logic-level inputs from a pattern generator and allow the user to adjust the output parameters to suit their device and testing requirements. Clocks can be "tweaked" in real-time to determine optimal operating parameters for a particular device, or else programmed in accordance with a test plan for automated production test.
