The #332 is the ideal tool for easy and accurate measurement of RPM in almost any environment. Simply aim the laser beam at a reflective mark placed on a rotating device, push the button and the RPM reading is immediately displayed. No contact with the shaft or wheel is necessary. The laser beam is not affected by shop light and can detect RPM from longer distances of up to 6 feet away. The #332 can measure up to 99,999 RPM in 1 RPM increments. It can be used to measure RPM on coil-on-plug and diesel engines, where conventional inductive tachometers can not be used. LS25 is an in-situ analyzer for non-contact measurement of the concentration of gases. The measuring principle of the LS25 is based on the principle of single line spectroscopy (Tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy, TDLAS). A single cross-sensitivity-free absorption line of the gas to be measured is selected in the near infrared range. A single-mode diode laser operating at room temperature scans the respective absorption line. By using an opposite receiver, the absorption caused by the sample gas is measured and from this the concentration is calculated. An automatic correction for pressure and temperature changes is possible. In addition, the transmission is displayed respectively output as a signal for preventive maintenance.

Model LE-05 and LE-15 extensometers measure strain optically, without contacting the specimen, using laser diode technology. The extensometers are self-contained and portable. They may be interfaced with a variety of testing machines and data acquisition systems using the ±10V analog output or bi-directional RS-232 serial port. Operation may be local or remote. A digital display is included. The scanning beam is always perpendicular to the specimen, unlike most laser extensometers. This eliminates errors when viewing through windows in chambers. It also minimizes sensitivity to the distance between the extensometer and the sample. Because the unit measures reflected light, no receiver is required behind the sample.
