The first two monochromators as the dispersion subtraction are used to reduce the stray light. The third monochromator as dispersion sum configuration is used to improve the resolution. M2 & BPP Systems
The M2 factor wil define the beam propagation characteristics compared to ideal Gaussian beam propagation. According to ISO Standard 11146 rightfully offers the laser beam characterization as "M2 times diffraction limited beam", as such, a perfect beam will have an M2 of 1. 1 will be the best achievable value and no beam could have an M2 less than 1. Our conceptual design is based on sub-assemblies allowing to change the sensing head in the M2 device, offering multiple wavelengths heads up to 2.7 microns from deep UV (knife-edge technology) and camera based technology with built-in automatic filter wheel for adjustment. Built for high intensity applications the NEW OAI Model 308T UV Light Meter is a dependable, direct-reading instrument designed for measuring UV light intensity for UV curing. The Model 308T features detachable probes for use in the UVA, UVB and UVC ranges, plus a high speed serial port. Accuracy of the meter is within ±3%and measurement repeatability is within ±3 LSB (least significant bit). Like all OAI precision instruments, the Model 308T provides NIST traceable measurements. This easy-to-use meter is auto-ranging from 0.1 to 1999.9 milliwatts/cm2 full scale when used with the 2000 milliwatts/ cm2 probe. The linearity of the meter in this range is at least ±(.002% + 6 LSB).
