PPS Clamp Transformer
PPS2 provides power supply to the PD detectors installed on HV cable when low voltage AC power is not available. The PPS2 takes the required power directly from the High Voltage power line under monitoring by means of units clamped on the HV power cable(s).PPS2 is designed to withstand High Voltage line failure events such as temporary overload and short circuit conditions. An internal detection and self limiting circuitry guarantees that PPS2 and the connected equipment survives in case of such events.

The device offers a wide range of output options, as standard and is suitable for use in SIL 2 applications. The detector can be configured to communicate with a wide range of fire panels, controllers, and PLCs and offer HART 7 and Syntel (Lonworks) protocols for addressable event monitoring. The devices come standard with a configurable 4-20mA or 0-22mA (PLC) output, two configurable alarm relays, and two detector status LEDs.All MultiFlame detectors are equipped with a continuous optical lens auto-check to ensure that the optical path is clear and that the detector functions properly. 105/106 Series
The 105/106 Series Event Detectors are the most versatile Event Detectors in the product line. These Event Detectors monitor the electrical resistance of up to 128 simple continuity loops, each comprised of single or multiple specimens under test. Each test specimen is continuously monitored while a selectable DC sense current is passed through each channel test-loop; resistance changes exceeding the selected threshold are recorded as an event. Minimum Event Duration, Channel Current, and Threshold Voltage settings can all be independently configured. 105 and 106 Series instruments are electrically identical, with the difference simply that the 105 offers four, 32-channel board slots and the 106 offers only one. Thus the 128-105 is equivalent to four 32-106 Event Detectors.

Event Based Image Sensors

The JSC-88AW is a very reliable way to know for sure whether or not there is voltage downstream from the switches or breakers during power-offs. It dramatically increases the safety of personnel assigned to maintenance work on electrical equipment powered by three-phase voltage.
