Textron Systems’ Radio Frequency Cable Tester (RFCT) allows for on-site testing and maintenance for radio frequency (RF) transmission paths within a platform. Using preconfigured databases of sweep parameters and pass/fail criteria, the RFCT quickly determines the status of installed RF cables. The RFCT checks each cable’s performance characteristics to include voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), insertion loss (IL), phase and phase matching. Our lines of high frequency VNA test cables display excellent electrical properties such as wonderful phase stability of +/- 6° at 50 GHz and +/- 8° at 67 GHz as well as VSWR of 1.3:1 at 50 GHz and 1.4:1 at 67 GHz. The Model 104-IDIO-16 is a 32-channel PC/104 utility board featuring 16 optically isolated inputs and 16 optically isolated solid state outputs.
