PXI General Purpose 2A Relay Module 16xSPDT, 50 D-sub

These low cost, general purpose electromechanical relay cards are capable of switching voltages up to 300VDC/250VAC and current up to 2A. They are suitable for use where reed relay based switching cards do not have sufficient voltage or current carrying capability. Applications include the switching of medium power AC and DC loads, or slave switching larger relays, contactors or solenoids. Connections are made to the card via a front panel mounted 50 pin D-Type connector plug.

Dummy Load
Dummy load is capable of dissipating four times the legal limit 6 kW for 2 minutes and legal limit 1500 watts key down, forever. It covers the 160 meter to 6 meter bands (actually 1 Mhz-60 MHz continuously). It is a dry dummy load intended for testing amplifiers and station conditions. Two fans on the rear of the unit are automatically turned on when the internal temperature reaches 120°F/49°C . The unit runs off a universal AC supply. Simple to operate and use, the dummy load includes an RF sample output of -60 dBc.

RF Milliwatt Meters
Type NDB-2 and NDB-3
National RF’s Type NDB-2 and NDB-3 RF Milliwatt Meters are affordable pieces of test equipment for both the RF laboratory and the home experimenter. Both provide a digital reading of RF power in dB reference 1 milliwatt of power into a 50 ohm load (i.e. 0 dBm). The circuitry consists of a low noise logarithmic amplifier that drives a digital A/D converting meter circuit. The lowest power levels that can be read are about –73 dBm (approximately 40 microvolts or .00000003 milliwatts). The maximum power input should not exceed 10 milliwatts (+10 dBm or .010 watts) when inputed without attenuation. An internal attenuator is provided and described in the next section.

The Hiden TPD Workstation is a complete experimental system for UHV temperature programmed desorption (TPD) studies. The triple filter mass analyser is configured with a cooled shroud giving the analyser optimum sensitivity with minimum background contributions to desorption products from the sample. Chassis Dynamometer Smoke Testers
A chassis dynamometer smoke tester (CDST) is used to test diesel emissions when the engine is under load. This is of course a much more realistic test than the commonly used free acceleration test. It is also better for the diesel engine.During a CDST test an automatic test cycle is performed, whereby the emission is measured at different engine loads. The DSO and DSOT series electronic loads are designed using advanced linear technology.The DSO series offers two main functions: constant current and constant resistance. However, these loads can absorb full power between 20% and 100% of the acceptable input voltage thanks to the autoranging mode.For more extensive requirements, we offer 'DSOT' models that also include constant voltage and constant power functions. These functions are essential for testing voltage generators such as automotive alternators or photovoltaic panels to determine their power curve.
