Amperis is a company specialising in state-of-the-art instrumentation for the diagnosis and testing of electrical substations. The company is located in the northwest of Spain, in the Polígono Industrial das Gándaras in the city of Lugo. After completing the construction and since November 2017 the company is located in the new headquarters, located at 14 Barbeito María Street. The new Amperis headquarters has offices and a new, more modern warehouse, with more internal conveniences and more facilities for the exit and entry of goods, with the aim of always providing a better service to the customer.

Transformer Winding Resistance Meters

The TWA advanced series instruments are designed for six-winding resistance measurement and simultaneous three phase on-load tap changer analysis of both the primary and the secondary transformer windings. This is performed with a one singlestep cable setup, with test currents of up to 40A. Each transformer configuration has a special measurement algorithm which is optimized for the fast stabilization of test results. The TWA instruments generate a true DC ripple-free current. Both the injection of the current and the discharge of energy from the magnetic circuit are automatically regulated.

Circuit Breaker Analyzer
CAT Standard Series
The CAT Standard series circuit breaker analyzers & timers are stand-alone or a PC-controlled digital instruments for circuit breakers condition assessments. The timing channels record closing and opening of the arcing, resistor, and auxiliary contacts. CAT Standard series records graphs of both, trip and close coil currents and displacements of the HV and MV circuit breaker moving parts. The main contact channels can also measure the resistance value of the pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker). Test results can be downloaded to a USB memory stick or saved to internal memory. The CAT Standard series internal memory can store up to 500 test results (numerical and graphical data). Test results can also be printed on the 80 mm (3.15 inch) thermal printer (optional accessory) in tabular and graphical form. Megohmmeter Insulation Tester

The AMIC-30 insulation tester is a small portable meter designed to measure insulation resistance in electrical and telecommunications installations, cables, motors, transformers and other equipment. The test voltage can be programmed in steps from 10 V to 1000 V. The instrument can measure both insulation resistance over a wide range (0,1kΩ...100GΩ), and insulation leakage current, capacitance and other parameters. All test results can be stored in the internal memory and sent to a computer via the included wireless USB receiver. The meters are supplied with rechargeable Ni-Cd batteries.
