Our SWS Series reaction type socket wrench torque sensors are available in ranges from 10 ft-lbs. through 1000 ft-lbs. and provide accurate measurements of bolt or nut wrenching torques. These sensors are bi-directional so both tightening and break-away torques can be measured. These low cost sensors deliver high accuracy and outstanding frequency response. alibration of mechanical torque wrenches may be performed with this sensor. The sensing element incorporates bonded foil strain gages of the highest quality.

The TMO-2A Transducer Modules is a complete differential amplifier/signal conditioners with self contained power. The unit provide excitation, balance and span adjustment via precision 10 turn pots, and shunt calibration necessary to couple a user supplied bridge type transducer to an indicating instrument. Zero to full scale output is specified at 4-20 mA. The TMO-2A provides a floating shunt calibration circuit which applies calibration at the transducer, thereby eliminating errors due to line losses. The excitation supply incorporates a Wagner Ground to greatly improve Common Mode Rejection. The factory set bandwidth of the module is narrow to improve stability. The removal of a single capacitor will increase the frequency response DC to 60K Hz for dynamic data applications.

The LCA-9PC Module provides low-cost, dedicated signal conditioning for a single bridge type load cell or torque sensor. Model LCA-9PC comes with DB9 male and female connectors, which require soldering to user-furnished mating female or male wire connectors. On- board jumper selections include sensitivities from 0.5 mV/V to 10 mV/V, bandwidths from 100 Hz to 30 kHz, and amplified outputs of 0 to ±5V, 0 to ±10V, 0-16 mA, 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA. Zero and span adjustments are via precision 25-turn low-tempco metal film otentiometers.The units can be operated next to the sensor with 4-wire hookup or at distances up to 1 km (3300 feet) with 6-wire hookup. An onboard 87.325 kΩ resistor allows easy shunt calibration at the push of a button. Provision is also made for a user-furnished calibration resistor. Power requirements are 11.8 to 26V DC with load currents from 10 to 60 mA, the latter applying when the unit provides 10V DC excitation to a 350 ohm load cell and delivers a 20 mA analog output.

The PSM-R is a self contained AC power bridge excitation supply. This device consists of a low interwinding capacitance AC transformer and a high stability adjustable linear regulator designed specifically for driving transducer bridges. DC excitation is adjustable from 4 to 15 volts output and is capable of supplying 0 to 150 mA in output current. It features remote sensing to eliminate line drop errors and very low noise. It can also be used as a high quality voltage source or reference in many applications. AC input requirements are 105 to 125 VAC at 60 Hz.

The PSM-F10 is a chassis mountable power supply package. They are ideal for use with dedicated microprocessor systems, instrument design and test equipment. The PSM-F10 can also be used as a supplemental bench or laboratory power supply. The special "Cclamp" type barrier strip secures the wire without twisting. Note the protected recessed barrier strip facing the top of the case. This allows connections to be made in tight areas while protecting the barrier strip from physical damage. The SST-HV is a Plug & Play Smart TEDS IEEE 1451.4 compliant Transmitter. Just plug in a TEDS compatible Load Cell or Torque Sensor and the SST-HV will automatically self-calibrate. When used with a non-TEDS Load Cell or Torque Sensor, the SST-LV Transmitter is easily programmed using a PC with an RS232 port and Instrument Setup (IS) software, which provides a graphical user interface. The SST-HV may be powered from 95-240 Vac ±10%. The SST-HV has an Isolated transducer excitation output that is selectable between 5Vdc or 10Vdc. There are Dual solid state relays and an Isolated 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA or 0-10V analog output. There are three Isolated serial data transmitter output ( RS232 , Half-duplex RS485, full-duplex RS485 ) and three serial protocols that are software selectable (Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII and Custom ASCII). Isolation to 250V rms is provided for power, signal input, analog output, relay outputs, and communications. Isolation adds safety and avoids possible ground loops. The transducer excitation output is isolated to 50V from signal ground.
