16 Differential I/O Multi-Mode Transceiver Channels
DF1
-
Function module DF1 multi-mode transceivers with 16 programmable I/O channels. Differential transceivers increase resistance to noise by creating two complementary signals. These complementary signals produced on balanced lines double noise immunity by creating lower power requirements due to lower supply voltages.

Power Monitor, AC-Powered, Field Adjustable
YMA/YQA
Power Monitor
NAI's YMA and YQA Power Monitors are used to monitor voltage, frequency, and phase characteristics of single- or three-phase power lines. This allows normal operation of system loads when the power-line characteristics are within predetermined limits.High and low voltage and frequency limits, and "pick-up" and "drop-out" time delay are field-adjustable using potentiometers. These power monitors are ideally suited for rugged defense and industrial applications.

24 TTL Channels, Enhanced, Programmable I/O
TL2
-
Function module TL2 provides 24 channels of TTL/CMOS transceiver functionality as either inputs or outputs. The transistor-transistor logic (TTL) employs transmitters with multiple emitters in gates having more than one input. TTL offers high switching speed and relative immunity to noisy systems. CMOS sensors provide image sensing technology by converting light waves into signals that are small bursts of current. These waves can be light or other electromagnetic radiation.

AC-Powered, AC Voltage Monitor
VAA/VQA
Voltage Monitor
NAI’s VAA and VQA are AC-Powered, AC Voltage Monitors used to monitor voltage characteristics of single- or three-phase power lines. This allows normal operation of system loads when the power-line characteristics are within pre-determined limits. These voltage monitors are ideally suited for rugged defense and industrial applications.

4 Discrete/Switch I/O Channels (±100 V, 3 A/Ch.)
DT3
-
The DT3 module (the enhanced version) feature 4 independent, high current, isolated, programmable channels that can be used for input voltage measurements (±100 V), or as a bi-directional current switch (up to 3 A per channel). When programmed as a switch with the switch closed, both the current through the switch and the voltage across the switch can be monitored. These modules include diode clamping on each channel. Clamping is useful for inductive loads, such as relays and short circuit protection.

2 Channels, 28 Vrms Input, 10 kHz-20 kHz
LD4
-
A linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) is a type of electrical transformer/transducer used for measuring linear displacement (position). A counterpart to this device used for measuring rotary displacement is called a rotary variable differential transformer (RVDT). The RVDT is like an LVDT in that it measures a positional displacement, however, the displacement, which is still a linear proportional function, is based on rotary instead of linear positional movement.
